It is essential that health and safety inspections are undertaken to ensure that potential hazards are controlled and that employees and others are not at risk. Inspections should be carried out on a regular basis by both internal and external employees.

At Phoenix Health and Safety, we can carry out full health and safety inspections at one or all of your premises. The safety inspections would cover all the physical parts of the premises, as well as documentation on-site.

Full reports are produced that detail:

• Observations made and hazards identified
• Level of risk (High, Medium or Low)
• Any recommendations necessary to ensure ongoing legal compliance

Safety inspections of construction sites are also essential and can be combined with toolbox talks, which can provide additional evidence that an employer is fulfilling their legal obligations to provide adequate health and safety information and training to employees and subcontractors.

The reports for the safety inspections can be submitted electronically. However, handwritten reports can be issued on site if required. Inspections can also be covered as part of our annual support contracts.
