The law requires that manual handling risks are reduced to the lowest levels reasonably practicable. One way of doing this is by providing manual handling training courses. This manual handling course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, giving you further assurance of it's quality and standing.
The aim of the CIEH Principles of Manual Handling course is to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to be able to carry out manual handling operations safely, and without risk of injuring themselves or others.

The CIEH Principles of Manual Handling Course is a half day course.
Element 1 - Introduction to Manual Handling
Element 2 - Manual handling hazards
Element 3 - Legislation and guidance
Element 4 - Risk Assessment
Element 5 - Controls and reducing the risk of harm
Candidates who attend the manul handling course and successfully complete the written assessments will receive a certificate for the Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling.
The CIEH Principles of Manual Handling training courses are delivered on client premises. The course can also be delivered on our premises, at additional cost.
£495 per course exc. VAT, plus an extra charge of £12.95 exc. VAT per delegate (maximum 15).
The price of the CIEH Principles of Manual Handling course includes tuition, course materials, exam fees, certificates, travel and accommodation. Additional expenses for travel and accommodation may be charged for locations outside England and Wales.
