People who want to renew a valid First Aid at Work Qualification. The 2 day first aid course must be completed within 28 days of expiry of the First Aid certificate; otherwise the full course must be taken again.

Recording incidents and actions
Preventing cross infection
Administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation
First aid treatment for seizures, choking, wounding, bleeding and shock
First aid treatment for minor injuries
First aid treatment for anaphylactic shock, bone/spinal injuries, eye injuries, burns/scalds, chest injuries and poisoning
Recognising major illness and providing appropriate first aid (including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes)
On successful completion of the final assessment, delegates are issued with an HSE approved certificate valid for three years. This allows holders to practice first aid for 3 years, after which a first aid requalification course is required. It is strongly recommended that skills are updated by taking an annual refresher course.
This course is legally compliant with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
