3 Day First Aid at WorK
Our 3 day first aid course is aimed at workplace first aiders or anyone who wants a comprehensive introduction to first aid. The course can be delivered over 3 consecutive days or one day a week for 3 weeks.

Course Duration
The 3 day first aid at work course will cover a variety of modules that must be completed to receive certification.
Course Content
The 3 day first aid programme will include:
Assessment of first aid situations
Use of available equipment
Recording incidents and actions
Preventing cross infection
Administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation
First aid treatment for seizures, choking, wounding, bleeding and shock
First aid treatment for minor injuries
First aid treatment for anaphylactic shock, bone/spinal injuries, eye injuries, burns/scalds, chest injuries and poisoning
Recognising major illness and providing appropriate first aid (including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes)
3 Day First Aid Certification
On successful completion of the final assessment, delegates will be issued with a HSE approved certificate valid for three years. This allows the holders to practice first aid for three years, and then a requalification course will be required. We strongly recommend that skills are updated by taking an annual refresher course.
Our 3 day first aid at work course is legally compliant with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The 3 day first aid course will be offered on a client’s premises and will be delivered specifically for their employees.
