Certification

Candidates are assessed with written examinations for each of the two taught units. A unit certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit. A Certificate award parchment is issued on completion of the two units and the practical assessment.

The practical assessment is carried out in the delegates own workplace.

The NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is accepted by IOSH – the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health – in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH). It is also accepted by The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) for associate membership.

The NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is accredited at Level 3 within the National Qualification Framework (NQF) by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland. The logos of these organisations will appear on the certificates awarded for the qualification.

NEBOSH Construction Course Units

You will be required to attend two module units when you attend our NEBOSH construction courses: UNIT 1: NGC1 Management of Health and Safety and Unit 2: NCC1 Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities. Our health and safety trainers will teach you a variety of elements in each module unit during the NEBOSH construction course, such as health and safety policy, risk assessment, construction law and management, working at height and more. You will then be assessed with a written examination for each unit - and you will be awarded a NEBOSH Construction Certificate which denotes successful achievement of each unit module. You will also be required to undertake a practical examination in your workplace.

Is the NEBOSH Construction Certificate Accredited?

A NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is accredited to Level 3 in the National Qualification Framework (NQF) from the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England.
