Data Protection Act Awareness

Data Protection Act Awareness

Under the Data Protection Act, organisations that collect and process personal information have to abide by certain rules. Punishments for those that fail to adhere to these regulations can include fines and even imprisonment. Breaches of data security also cause potentially significant damage to the reputations of the companies involved.

Our Data Protection Act Awareness e-learning course has been designed to ensure that workers know about the 8 principles of data protection and understand how they apply. It is intended for anyone who collects or works with personal data. It can serve as an introduction to this topic or as refresher training.

It takes around 45 minutes to complete the course.
