Phoenix Health & Safety are the UK’s premier providers of health and safety training and health and safety consultancy services. Operating from a head office in Staffordshire, we have consultants and training venues all around the UK, ensuring you always have local advice and training courses.
We offer a variety of fully online health and safety courses, including IOSH Working Safely, IOSH Managing Safely, Health and Safety Awareness, Manual Handling, Display Screen Equipment, Fire Safety and many more.
The e-learning courses are interactive and include activities, scenarios and quizzes to engage learners and keep them interested. Every course has a final assessment which is designed to prove that the delegate has reached the required level of knowledge, as well as assisting with the employers’ legal duty to ensure staff have been adequately trained.
Courses can be accessed on computer, tablet or mobile devices. It is not necessary to complete the courses in one session, as the system bookmarks where learners got to so that they can continue later from where they left off.
Once the course has been completed, a confirmation of results can be printed or saved as proof of completion. This can then be kept on record or in personal files as evidence of suitable training.
If required, the courses can be tailored to suit the organisation. This may be as simple as including your logo, or you may wish to go further and include relevant photographs, videos, or even attach your forms/templates to the course. There are no limits to what can be achieved by our team of UK based in-house e-learning developers.
Additionally, we are able to build online e-learning courses uniquely for clients from scratch. You might be looking for a course on another subject, or you may want to covert a current paper based course into a dynamic, interactive online course. Please get in touch to discuss your exact requirements.
Many workers find themselves spending extended periods in front of a computer screen, whether it’s a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Without the proper training, day-to-day work can result in eye strain, repetitive strain injury, headaches, and back problems.
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 requires employers to give suitable safety training to users of computers and other types of display screen equipment (DSE).
One of the best ways to teach employers the basics of DSE training is via an online course. For instance, the online computer safety e-learning course provided by Phoenix helps both employers and employees to meet their legal requirements and understand computer health and safety better. In turn, you can reduce the risk of ill-health caused by the use of DSE.
This Display Screen Equipment course is suitable for any employee who regularly uses a computer, laptop, tablet, TV screens or smartphones in the workplace.
