  • Key roles and responsibilities – Client, Designer, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor and Contractors  

  • Site safety requirements  

  • Pre-construction information and the health and safety plan  

  • Planning and maintenance of a safe construction environment

  • Reasons for managing health and safety- Moral, Legal and Financial 

  • What construction work is; key duty holders 

  • The legal and organisational health & safety roles and responsibilities of clients, designers, the Principle Contractor, contractors and workers Pre-Construction information, the Health and Safety File and the Construction Phase Plan 

  • Important Regulations as detailed in CDM regulations 2015
