"Most multi-site teams know what good looks like. What they’re short of is time to check it’s happening at every site. That’s where we come in.”

Lead Consultant, Phoenix Health & Safety

✓ Each site does things slightly differently, and it's hard to tell which way is right.

✓ You've opened or acquired sites and need them working to the same standard.

✓ A client, insurer or prequalification scheme wants evidence across every location.

✓ Your health and safety lead is good, but there are more sites than hours.

✓ Leadership wants one clear view of risk, not a folder per site.

What You Receive

Every partnership is tailored to your sites. This is what your team and leadership can expect.

An audit report for every site

Findings rated on the same scale, with a prioritised action plan. Every report names the consultant who carried out the work and their qualifications.

Risk assessments written for each site

General, task-specific and fire risk assessments (PAS 79), reflecting that site’s premises, activities and people.

One policy and set of procedures

Arrangements that apply across the organisation, with site-specific detail where it’s needed.

Scheduled consultant visits

Qualified consultants on the ground across the UK, on a schedule agreed with your health and safety lead.

Regular progress reviews

Actions tracked site by site, so you can show leadership what’s been done and what’s next.

Direct access to a consultant
For your health and safety lead and site managers, by phone or email, at any time of day.

Also available: NEBOSH, IOSH and in-house training for site managers and supervisors, from the same provider.

What It Looks Like in Practice

For example: you acquire a distribution depot. A Phoenix consultant audits it using the same method as your other sites, and the findings are rated on the same scale. It’s immediately clear that the depot’s traffic routes need attention before anything at head office. Your health and safety lead sets the priorities, the action plan is agreed, and the next review checks the changes have held.

How It Works

01 Assess

We look at each site the same way, identify gaps and agree priorities with you.

02 Improve

We put practical controls, documents and systems in place across your locations.

03 Support

Your team has qualified advice on hand, plus visits and regular reviews.

04 Assure

We review progress with you, site by site, and plan what comes next.

You can get started straight away. We can begin with a few sites and add more as you go.

Clear Pricing, Built for Procurement

Multi-site partnerships are priced on your number of sites and employees and the type of work you do. You’ll get an itemised quote showing what’s included at each site, on a 12, 24 or 36-month agreement. There are no hidden costs: anything extra is agreed with you first.

For procurement and supplier approval: insurance certificates, consultant qualifications, a sample audit report and references are all available on request.

Competent Advice You Can Stand Behind

When an inspector, insurer or client asks who carried out your risk assessment, the answer matters. Phoenix consultants combine recognised professional qualifications with practical experience of real workplaces, so the advice you get is pragmatic, proportionate and right for how your business works.

Every report names the consultant who carried out the work and their qualifications, so you always have a clear answer.

Qualified to professional standards

Our team includes Chartered Members of IOSH, the professional body for health and safety, and holds NEBOSH qualifications in general and construction safety.

Specialists in fire safety

Fire risk assessments are carried out by qualified assessors using PAS 79, a widely recognised method for fire risk assessment. The team includes members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and the Institution of Fire Engineers.

Multi-industry experience

Our consultants understand the pressures behind the paperwork because they’ve worked in manufacturing, logistics, construction, education, healthcare, hospitality and more.

Knowledge that stays current

Regulations and guidance change, so our consultants keep up to date through professional membership and ongoing development. The service is led by our Health and Safety Director, Toby Bidwell CMIOSH FIIRSM.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you replace our in-house health and safety team?

No. Your health and safety lead stays in charge and sets the priorities. We add qualified capacity for audits, fire risk assessments and site visits, and give a second view when you want one.

Can you work with our existing system, policies and templates?

Yes. We start by reviewing what you already have and build on what works, rather than replacing it. Where there are gaps, we agree changes with your health and safety lead before anything is rolled out.

If everything follows one standard, will each site get a generic assessment?

No. The method is consistent, but each risk assessment reflects that site’s premises, activities and people. A warehouse and a head office are measured the same way, not assessed as if they were the same.

Can you bring a newly acquired site up to the same standard?

Yes. We assess the new site against the same standard as the rest of your estate, so you can see where it stands and what to prioritise.

Will we see the same consultants each time?

You’ll have a named lead consultant who gets to know your organisation and your sites, supported by consultants across the UK for local visits.

Do you cover all our locations?

Our consultants work across the UK. Tell us where your sites are and we’ll confirm how visits will be arranged.

How will we report progress to our leadership team?

Regular reviews track actions site by site. They show what needs attention, how significant it is and what’s been done, so you can give leadership a clear picture.

Can you also train our people?

Yes. Where the audits find gaps in knowledge or capability, Phoenix also provides NEBOSH, IOSH and in-house training, so the same provider can help close them.

How long is the agreement?

Agreements run for 12, 24 or 36 months. You’ll see the full terms in your quote before you commit.

What happens when we get in touch?

A senior consultant talks through your sites, your current arrangements and what you need. If it would help, we can follow up with a free 60-minute Risk-Ready Review at one of your sites. There’s no obligation.
