How much does health and safety consultancy cost?
Ongoing support starts from £160 a month + VAT. Your price depends on your number of sites and employees and the type of work you do. Agreements run for 12, 24 or 36 months. One-off jobs are quoted before we start.
Do I need a health and safety consultant?
Every employer must appoint a competent person, or people, to help them meet their health and safety duties. If someone in your workforce has the skills, knowledge and experience, HSE advises using them. If not, you can bring in outside help. Either way, managing health and safety remains your legal duty: our role is to give you competent advice and practical support. HSE guidance.

Think of it as an MOT for your health and safety arrangements. It's a free, confidential 60-minute conversation with a Phoenix consultant, on Teams or at your site. A one-off health and safety audit provides a snapshot of your current arrangements. It identifies strengths, areas for improvement and any potential compliance gaps, giving you a clear action plan to work from.
Ongoing health and safety support is a longer-term partnership. In addition to regular reviews and visits, you'll have access to expert advice throughout the year. We help you implement recommendations, keep policies and procedures up to date, monitor progress and respond to new challenges as your business evolves.
If a one-off audit tells you where you are today, ongoing support helps you continually improve and maintain effective health and safety performance over time.
