The NEBOSH Oil and Gas course is assessed by a two-hour written exam.
The certificate is accredited by the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) as a NOS-based qualification for delivery across the UK and internationally. It is intended to be rated at Level 6 in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, which is comparable to the standard of the NEBOSH National General Certificate.
For candidates in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, this is broadly comparable to a Vocationally Related Qualification.

When and how will I receive my results and NEBOSH certificate?
NEBOSH send out the results 10-12 weeks after the exams. Your certificates will arrive from Phoenix 10-12 weeks after the results have been announced.
Are there any entry requirements for the NEBOSH Oil & Gas Certificate?There are no formal requirements for the NEBOSH Oil & Gas Certificate, however, we do recommend that candidates compete the NEBOSH International or National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent level 3 certificate, prior to undertaking the International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety.
How long does it take to complete the NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate?This a distance learning course, typically comprising 55 hours of study.
