Under UK law, all organisations with 5 or more staff are required to carry out written health and safety risk assessments covering all significant hazards. These risk assessments allow potential hazards in the workplace to be identified, and their severity assessed, allowing for the necessary precautions to be put in place.

The Risk Assessment Training course is a one-day course which can be studied in your workplace.

The learning outcomes of the risk assessment course is:

  • Equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to identify risks and carry out successful risk assessments.

The course is assessed in two ways.

  • There is a multiple-choice assessment at the end of the course, with results provided immediately.

  • There is also a short, scenario-based risk assessment at the end of the course to verify the learner’s understanding.
