Nick Higginson

As the sole founder of Phoenix Health and Safety, Nick has been leading the Phoenix team for almost 20 years, helping the company achieve milestone after milestone. Since day one he’s maintained the vision of Phoenix putting students at the heart of everything they do, delivering exceptional training that cuts through the jargon and red tape of health and safety.

His leadership at Phoenix is informed by a range of health and safety qualifications, including the NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Environmental Diploma and MSc in Occupational Health and Safety. Prior to founding Phoenix, he also built up over 20 years of experience as a Health and Safety Practitioner, giving him an extensive understanding of Health and Safety legislation, best practices and practical application.

Nick also holds IOSH Chartered Membership, with his expertise and experience recognised by peers from across the industry as a driver of Health and Safety Excellence in the UK and South Africa.
